2003 Alexander McQueen Mixed Fur Jacket
This jacket was featured on the runway for Alexander McQueen’s 2003 fall/winter ready to wear collection, Vogue called the collection ‘Eurasian ethnic into punk’. This jacket is constructed of different sized pieces of real fur that has been sewn with the fur facing inside in a patchwork method. The inside includes pieces of white, brown and speckled grey short pile fur, while the outside is beige suede. The jacket is also topstitched in taupe leather accents along the bodice and sleeves. It has a hood that has a long pile fur trim, this trim is also on the bottom hem of the bodice and the cuffs of the sleeves. Finally, it is fastened with a zip along the front. This item carries the Alexander McQueen authenticity label.
